HC2 is Switzerland’s biggest programming contest, held at EPFL in Lausanne.

Solve challenging problems in teams of up to 3 people using short programs.

Can I participate?

You must be at least 14 years old.
No need to be a student, but students and professionals compete in separate categories.

What should I bring?

Your good mood! Nothing is needed - we will provide your team with a computer, pen and paper.

Where is it?

HC2 is in the CO building at EPFL.
You can find directions here.

What about food?

We will provide breakfast and lunch; you can optionally join for dinner for CHF 15 more.

What if I don't have a team?

Don’t worry! Register as a single participant, and we’ll try to find you a team.
You can always participate alone, of course.

Which programming languages are available?

C++17, Java 11, Python 2.7 and Python 3.7.
You will be able to code using Emacs, Geany, Vim, Code::Blocks, Visual Studio Code, Atom, Kate, Eclipse, and GDB.
